Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in aircraft systems engineering.
• Expert in systems integration, V&V, and requirements management.
• Knowledge of DO-178C/DO-254.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate aircraft systems including avionics, power systems, and propulsion controls.
• Conduct analysis and simulation to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain system documentation including specifications and test procedures.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and flight test teams for seamless integration.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers throughout project lifecycles.
• Perform root cause analysis for anomalies or failures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
