The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with performance emphasis and has 7+ years of experience, strong aerodynamics knowledge, and proficiency with performance software and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or related field with a focus on performance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in aircraft performance or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Proficiency with aircraft performance software and data analysis tools.
• Experience with flight data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations related to aircraft performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of aircraft performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop and refine aircraft performance models and databases for takeoff, climb, cruise and landing.
• Provide technical guidance to flight crews and planning teams on performance matters.
• Analyze environmental impacts (temperature, altitude, wind) on performance.
• Develop strategies to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform weight and balance calculations for various flight scenarios.
• Evaluate new aircraft technologies and procedures for performance impact.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations with recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to address performance issues.
