The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, deep knowledge of Boeing/Airbus systems, and holds an EASA Part-66 or SACAA AME license. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

• EASA Part-66 or SACAA AME license strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, focusing on line and base maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote expert technical support and guidance to aircraft maintenance teams.
• Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective actions for aircraft defects and technical issues.
• Review and approve maintenance documentation, work orders, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.


• A valid EASA Part-66 or South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license is highly preferred.


• At least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, with a strong focus on line and base maintenance.


• Proven experience with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft families.


• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, engines, and avionic systems.


• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical problems.


• Excellent understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, SACAA).


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.


• Proficiency in using maintenance information systems and relevant software.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
