Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven track record of research and development in deep learning, evidenced by publications.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with scientific computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Pandas).
• Deep understanding of machine learning theory, algorithms, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, and large-scale data handling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa and reside in or be willing to relocate to the Benoni, Gauteng area.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality code and documentation for research reproducibility.
