About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs and procedures in accordance with AS9100 and other relevant aerospace standards.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring adherence to design and performance criteria.
• Manage the non-conformance process, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain departments to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, reporting on trends and areas for improvement to senior management.
• Ensure all quality documentation, records, and traceability are maintained accurately and in compliance with industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the aerospace manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing AS9100 or similar aerospace quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
• Experience with various quality tools, such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
