Job summary

Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng, seeks a Senior Accounting Educator to lead the accounting program. You will deliver high‑quality financial education, mentor adult learners and drive curriculum alignment with IFRS and professional syllabi.

You will design courses, supervise internships, and collaborate with faculty to continuously improve the program. A Master’s degree, teaching qualification, and 5+ years’ tertiary teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) desirable.
• Recognised teaching qualification or tertiary education experience.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching accounting at tertiary or professional level.
• Knowledge of IFRS, SAICA/ACCA syllabi or equivalent.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach advanced accounting principles including financial, management accounting, auditing and taxation for professional qualifications.
• Develop and update course materials, lesson plans and assessments to align with standards.
