Job summary

EnableSA in Port Elizabeth, South Africa is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Port Elizabeth team. You will manage the general ledger, oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, and prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

You will reconcile financial records, ensure compliance with SA accounting standards and tax regulations, and support internal and external audits and statutory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with stock and fixed asset accounting preferred.
• Solid understanding of SA tax regulations and compliance.]
• Proficiency with Sage Evolution and Sage Intacct is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies timeously.
