Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) desirable.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with focus on financial reporting and IFRS.
• Proven experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and South African accounting standards.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring entries are accurate and timely.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in preparation of statutory returns and tax computations.
