Placements24 is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant in Klerksdorp to lead daily accounting operations, ensure IFRS financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, GL, payroll, and assist with budgets and audits, while ensuring SA tax compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Pastel) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in IFRS.
• Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
