Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd seeks a Senior Accountant for the Northern Suburbs, Western Cape. The role offers a monthly CTC between R30,000 and R45,000 with responsibilities spanning full accounting, VAT & payroll management. Strong SAICA/SAIPA exposure is advantageous.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Pastel Accounting, and able to coordinate multiple entities and annual SARS submissions. Reliable transport is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles would be highly beneficial.
• 5 years of accounting experience in a Senior Accountant or Financial Accountant role.
• Experience with VAT, PAYE, EMP501 and SARS submissions.
• Experience working on Pastel Accounting.
• Reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, reconciliations and month end journals
• Manage the full accounting function for multiple company entities
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, EMP501 and SARS compliance and submissions
• Manage payroll, creditors, debtors and the finance team
• Coordinate cash flow, banking, foreign currency transactions and annual external audits

Our client in the Food Manufacturing industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team!

Minimum requirements
