Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a Senior Accountant/Financial Accountant to oversee the full accounting function for multiple entities in South Africa. The role demands a relevant accounting degree and at least five years of experience.

SAICA or SAIPA articles would be beneficial, with strong VAT, PAYE, EMP501 and SARS submissions experience, including Pastel Accounting. You will lead the finance team and coordinate audits and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting required.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles would be highly beneficial.
• 5 years' relevant accounting experience in a Senior Accountant or Financial Accountant role.
• Experience with VAT, PAYE, EMP501 and SARS submissions.
• Experience working on Pastel Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, reconciliations and month end journals.
• Manage the full accounting function for multiple company entities.
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, EMP501 and SARS compliance and submissions.
• Manage payroll, creditors, debtors and the finance team.
• Coordinate cash flow, banking, foreign currency transactions and annual external audits.
