Gauteng Provincial Government invites applications for the role of Assistant Director- Security (Re-advertisement) in the Corporate Management directorate. The role oversees hospital security services, conducts risk assessments, and advises executive management on security matters. Requirements include Grade 12, a relevant Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Security Management, and 3 years supervisory experience. A valid driver’s license is needed.

Formación

• Grade 12 and a relevant bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Security Management.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in security management.
• Knowledge of MPSS, MISS, POPIA, and related prescripts; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate security guarding services and ensure contractual compliance.
• Liaise with SAPS and Gauteng DoH Security Directorate as needed.
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
• Provide strategic security advice to executive management.
• Develop and monitor security performance records and disciplinary actions where needed.
