Job summary

Icebolethu Group is seeking vigilant, professional Security Guards to protect our premises, employees, visitors, assets, and equipment in Rustenburg. The role requires active surveillance, incident handling, and clear reporting to ensure a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12, PSIRA registration, and at least 2 years of experience. Technical CCTV skills, physical fitness, and knowledge of safety protocols are essential; firearms and defensive driving experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric essential.
• Valid PSIRA registration/certification.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Security Guard or Security Officer.
• Tech-savvy with CCTV and security communication equipment.
• Physically fit; trained in Self-Defense and First Aid/BLS.
• Firearm competency and defensive driving are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Access Control & Patrols: monitor entry/exit for visitors and vehicles; secure exits and post operations.
• Surveillance & Monitoring: operate CCTV and security comms to detect breaches.
• Incident Response & Investigation: respond to alarms, investigate suspicious activity, assist those in distress.
• Apprehension & Ejection: remove trespassers and detain until police arrive.
• Reporting & Administration: log surveillance activities and write incident reports.
