Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a Control Centre Operator in the Technical Division, based at Head Office - Centurion. The role focuses on client liaison, answering calls, and proactive alarm/CCTV support. Weekend, after-hours, and shift work are required to meet security needs.

Preferred candidates hold PSIRA Grade A and have 2+ years’ experience with alarms/CCTV Call Centre environments. Proficiency with Ajax, Secutel, Videofied and related platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade A certification required.
• 2+ years’ experience with alarms/CCTV Call Centre preferred.
• Knowledge of listener Monitoring platform advantageous.
• Experience with Ajax, Secutel and Videofied alarm systems.
• Experience in alarm and CCTV fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Client liaison and professional client relationship.
• Answer and action all incoming calls.
• Communicate with the client, technicians and management.
• Provide proactive support of alarms, CCTV communication, and reports.
• Assist admin with maintenance of database, zones, and user information.
• Adhere to all instructions by management.
• Ensure alarms and CCTV alarms are actioned per procedures.
• On-the-job training and development on company policies.
