About the Role

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing engaging security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and mitigate human-related security risks. Your creativity and understanding of behavioral science will be key in designing effective training materials and campaigns that resonate with a diverse workforce. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training content, including presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive workshops.
• Design and execute engaging security awareness campaigns throughout the year.
• Create phishing simulations and other exercises to test employee awareness and response.
• Analyze the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social engineering tactics, phishing techniques, and security threats.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
• Track employee participation and completion rates for mandatory training.
• Communicate security best practices and tips through various channels (e.g., newsletters, intranet).
• Report on the progress and impact of the security awareness program to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and delivering security awareness training or related educational programs.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats (phishing, malware, social engineering).
• Excellent content creation and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Proficiency in using e-learning development tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Creative mindset and ability to design engaging and impactful training materials.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating both remotely and on-site in Soweto.
• Experience with security certifications or frameworks related to awareness training is a plus.
