Job summary

Evolution Group seeks a vigilant security officer to protect premises in East London, Eastern Cape. You will monitor entrances, authorize access, and respond to disturbances according to site procedures.

Responsibilities include writing daily activity reports, observing and reporting irregularities, detaining violators when necessary, and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors on site. You will maintain the Occurrence Book and coordinate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees.
• Guard against theft and maintain security of premises for visitors and others.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
• Report occurrences in Occurrence Book.
