Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified mining engineer or equivalent with detailed knowledge of mining operations.
• Proven leadership experience in a mining environment and supervision.
• Relevant safety and blasting certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, health, and environment programs and risk management.
• Execute weekly/monthly plans to meet production targets.
• Assist budgeting and monitor expenses to optimize cash flow.
• Optimize human resources and train staff within authority limits.
• Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships to meet goals.
• Drive improvement initiatives for safe, cost-effective mine operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and environmental standards.
