Duties:

• Handle pots, pans, trays, baking equipment, and kitchen utensils with care to prevent damage or breakage.
• Support kitchen and lodge teams by adhering to cleaning schedules for food production and back-of-house service areas.
• Safely store kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, trays, and utensils.
• Participate in all scheduled food safety and chemical safety training sessions.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning machinery only after receiving proper training.
• Use chemicals and cleaning materials as directed, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene policies, separating waste correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas, corridors, and waste disposal zones.
• Regularly hose, clean, and disinfect bins and rubbish areas, keeping the environment hazard-free.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize machinery, shelving, and storage areas as instructed.
• Assist in general cleaning tasks and support other departments when necessary.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for cleaning or washing needs.
• Use personal protective equipment as instructed and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and suggest improvements to management.
• Ensure correct storage and use of chemicals, preventing wastage and damage.
• Report any broken or damaged equipment immediately.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment, always prioritizing safety and hygiene.

Requirements:
