Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a SCM Administrator for a 4 months fixed-term contract in Pretoria. The role requires a National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 6) and at least three years of SCM or procurement experience.

Candidates should be familiar with PFMA and National Treasury regulations, RFQ and tender processes, supplier management, and Sage Pastel; strong communication, planning, numeracy and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 6) required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a SCM or procurement environment.
• Knowledge of PFMA and National Treasury legislation and regulations.
• Knowledge of SCM and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of RFQ and tender processes, including tender screening.
• Knowledge of orders, purchases, requisitions and supplier management.
• Knowledge of receiving of goods and preparation of payment documentation.
• Knowledge of procurement policy and compliance.
• Sage Pastel – compulsory requirement.

SCM Administrator 4 Months Fixed Term contract

The recruitment agency must source candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6;
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Supply Chain Management or procurement environment;
• Knowledge of the PFMA and National Treasury legislation and regulations;
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and procurement processes;
• Knowledge of RFQ and tender processes, including tender screening;
• Knowledge of orders, purchases, requisitions and supplier management;
• Knowledge of receiving of goods and preparation of payment documentation;
• Knowledge of procurement policy and compliance; and
• Practical experience in Sage Pastel – compulsory requirement

Candidates should also demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, planning and organising, analytical ability and attention to detail, computer literacy (particularly MS Office and MS Excel), strong numeracy, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
