SHV Holdings NV is seeking a Production Scaling Operator to execute daily production plans and prepare raw materials for scaling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires following Nutriciel system guidelines, maintaining safety standards, and reporting any discrepancies or equipment issues to ensure efficient production and quality control.

Formación

• Matric (Grade 12) – Mathematics an advantage.
• 2 years' experience in scaling.
• Knowledge of Nutriciel System.

Responsabilidades

• Execute operational activities based on the daily production plan and sequencing.
• Collect the correct raw materials for production from the production warehouse timeously before scaling.
• Scale raw materials as per Nutriciel requirements following the batch sheet/formulation.
• Supply the scaled-out batches to production once scaling is completed.
• Report discrepancies, incorrect weights, equipment problems or material shortages to Shift Supervisor promptly.
• Signal deviations in processes and propose improvements to optimize operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Executes operational activities based on the daily production plan and sequencing.
• Collects the correct raw materials for production from the production warehouse timeously / prior to the scaling process to minimize downtime.
• Effectively scale raw materials as per Nutriciel requirements by following he batch sheet / formulation precisely.
• Supply the scaled-out batches to production once scaling is completed.
• Reporting discrepancies, incorrect weights, equipment problems, or material shortages to Shift Supervisor as soon as they occur.
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.

Safety & Compliance

• Works in compliance with all relevant (personal as well as food) safety, environmental and quality management system regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards
• Promotes awareness on SHEQ, signals potential hazardous and / or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action is case of imminent unsafe situations.
• Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations. Maintains the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and production site

Min Job Requirements

• Min Grade – Matric (Mathematics will be an advantage)
• Min. 2 years' experience in Scaling
• Knowledge in Nutriciel System

Additional Requirements

• Basic computer literacy and ability to complete production records accurately.
• Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling activities associated with Scaling in manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality standards.
• Forklift licence (advantageous), if operators are expected to move pallets or finished product.
