Job summary

Tiger Brands in Gauteng is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor multiple production line machines, relieve operators at stations, and perform start-up, shutdown and changeover activities as required. You will help ensure product quality and safety by following GMP and 5S standards.

Additional duties include maintaining records, supporting packaging and stock handling, and participating in continuous improvement to boost line performance through teamwork and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Experience in a manufacturing or beverage production environment
  • Ability to operate multiple production line machines
  • Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate various production line equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Relieve operators at different workstations as assigned.

  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to improve line performance.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
