The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of scaling experience, Matric, and knowledge of Nutriciel systems. Forklift licence is advantageous and readiness to work on site is required.

Qualifikationen

• Min Grade - Matric (Mathematics will be an advantage).
• Min. 2 years' experience in Scaling.
• Knowledge in Nutriciel System.

Aufgaben

• Executes operational activities based on the daily production plan and sequencing.
• Collects the correct raw materials for production from the production warehouse timeously / prior to the scaling process to minimize downtime.
• Effectively scale raw materials as per Nutriciel requirements by following the batch sheet / formulation precisely.
• Supply the scaled-out batches to production once scaling is completed.
• Reporting discrepancies, incorrect weights, equipment problems, or material shortages to Shift Supervisor as soon as they occur.
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.

• Works in compliance with all relevant (personal as well as food) safety, environmental and quality management system regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards
• Promotes awareness on SHEQ, signals potential hazardous and / or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action is case of imminent unsafe situations.

Good Housekeeping

• Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations. Maintains the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and production site

Min Job requirements

• Min Grade - Matric (Mathematics will be an advantage)

• Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling activities associated with Scaling in manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality standards.
• Forklift licence (advantageous), if operators are expected to move pallets or finished product.
