Scatec is seeking an Engineer: SCADA and Cybersecurity in Cape Town, South Africa. You will focus on cybersecurity compliance and governance for projects, conducting vendor risk assessments and aligning with IEC standards and lenders requirements.

You will support design, development and implementation of the OT network and SCADA software, review vendor designs, and ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented during execution across projects.

Formación

• B.Eng in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years in CSC, OT and critical infrastructure.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CCNA, GICSP) beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 and OT cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with industrial control systems and SCADA protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and establish cybersecurity requirements for projects and vendors.
• Review SCADA and vendor designs for IEC and cybersecurity compliance.
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and manage deviations.
• Specify minimum requirements for SCADA systems and networks.
• Perform due diligence on suppliers for cybersecurity risks and opportunities.
• Support project teams on design, development, and implementation of OT networks.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented during execution.
• Assist in CFAT/CSAT activities and project close-out post-TTO.
