Job summary

Stellenbosch Hotel is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to manage daily laundry operations on-site. You will clean, press, and maintain linen and towels, ensuring timely delivery to departments while upholding hygiene and quality standards.

Applicants should have a clean criminal record, basic laundry knowledge, and prior experience at a luxury hotel. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a contract arrangement for fixed-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Clean criminal record.
• Basic cleaning/laundry operation knowledge.
• Previous laundry experience at 4–5 star level in the same or similar position.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a reliable and efficient daily laundry service.
• Ensure linen, towels, and other items are cleaned, pressed, maintained and undamaged.
• Deliver clean laundry timeously to relevant departments with high hygiene and quality standards.

The role ensures that clean laundry is delivered timeously to all relevant departments, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and attention to detail throughout the laundry process.
