Job summary

PwC SATIC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Workday Finance Support Consultant to provide day-to-day functional support for the Workday Financial Management application. You will work with end users, finance stakeholders and the project team to investigate issues, provide solutions and ensure system stability.

Required are 2–4 years’ experience with Workday or similar ERP accounting software, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience supporting Workday Financial Management in BAU.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with Workday functional areas such as AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Workday Financial Management.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and user queries.
• Analyse system issues and identify root causes.
• Maintain Workday configurations where appropriate.
• Support finance users with system navigation and business processes.
• Monitor and resolve integration failures where required.
• Perform data corrections using appropriate Workday functionality.
• Support Workday feature releases by assessing impacts, testing new functionality, and coordinating deployment.
• Execute system testing, including regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with governance, audit and security requirements.
• Participate in on-call support or production support activities where applicable

A Workday Finance Consultant at PwC SATIC will lead and support the Workday Finance team, bringing a strong finance background and deep expertise in ERP business processes. With proven experience in ERP implementations, this leader will oversee the, deployment of Workday Finance solutions

Summary:

The Workday Finance Support Consultant is responsible for providing day-to-day functional support for the Workday Financial Management application. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, resolving incidents, troubleshooting user issues, supporting business processes, performing system administration, and ensuring optimal system performance. The Workday Finance Support Consultant works closely with end users, business stakeholders and project implementation team to investigate issues, provide solutions, support Workday releases, and recommend continuous improvements to finance processes.

Qualifications / Certifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous).

Experience required:

2–4 years’ experience supporting Workday Financial Management or similar ERP Accounting software in a BAU/support environment.

Experience supporting one or more Workday Finance functional areas such as:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Banking & Settlement
• Fixed Assets
• Expenses
• Procurement
• Revenue Management
• Experience investigating and resolving production issues.
• Experience with Workday security, business processes and reporting.
• Experience supporting Workday bi-annual releases and regression testing.
• Experience working with business users and finance stakeholders.

Desirable skill sets include:

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Good knowledge of Workday Financial Management or ERP Accounting modules.
• Knowledge of Workday business processes and security configuration.
• Experience with Workday reporting (Custom Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports).
• Understanding of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a support team.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira or other ITSM ticketing tools.

The successful candidates will be required to work the standard office hours of the United Kingdom office. During the training period, attendance in the office will be required on a daily basis. Following the completion of training, candidates will transition to a hybrid working model.
