Opensource is seeking a senior SAP BW/ABAP specialist to join our global IT team in South Africa. You will deliver development, testing and operations across BWonHANA, BW4/HANA and SAP HANA environments, while collaborating with international peers.

You will design data flows, process chains and BEx queries, optimize performance and support go-lives. The role requires deep SAP expertise, strong debugging skills and experience with SAP Notes, transports, and ITSM processes.

• BW Modelling using LSA and LSA++.
• Experience with SAP ABAP Development and Debugging.

• Experience with SAP BW Incident and Change Management (ITSM).
• Experience with SAP Integration, SDA Remote Sources.
• Technical and Functional Documentation.
• Unit, Integration and Security Testing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1st/2nd level support for SAP BWonHANA, BW4/HANA, HANA and Portal.
• Troubleshoot incidents and manage SLAs; handle Problem and Change Tickets.
• Monitor SAP BW systems, Process Chains and performance; improve stability.
• Develop, debug and test ABAP programs; support BW modelling.
• Create/maintain ODP, RFC, SDA/SDI, file and DB connections.
• Implement SAP Notes; manage transports with other teams.
• Perform Unit, Integration and Security Testing; Go-Live support.
• Document technical specs and functional docs; update Confluence.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BW Platform Support & Operations

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support across SAP BWonHANA, BW4/HANA, HANA and SAP Portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Manage Problem Management and Change Management tickets.
• Monitor SAP BW systems, Process Chains and platform performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform stability and performance.

Development & Integration

• Develop, debug and test complex ABAP programs.
• Support SAP BW modelling and development activities.
• Create and maintain ODP, RFC, SDA, SDI, file and database connections.
• Implement SAP Notes and manage transports.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and application teams during upgrades and maintenance.

Testing & Documentation

• Perform Unit, Integration, Regression and Security Testing.
• Prepare test cases, technical specifications and functional documentation.
• Support Go-Live activities and system upgrades.
• Maintain technical knowledge documentation in Confluence.
• Support knowledge sharing and training within technical teams.
