Job summary

Edge Executive Search Group is seeking a senior SAP BW/4HANA Developer to drive a major S/4HANA migration and implement cutting-edge data analytics within a logistics context. You will be part of a dynamic team, shaping data models, ETL processes, and governance across cloud and on-premise environments.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW/4HANA development, strong S/4HANA experience, and proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW/4HANA development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S4HANA as a source system.
• Experience integrating BW/4HANA solutions across cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Proficiency in Analytics, ETL, SQL, and Data management.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from SAP S4HANA ERP into BW4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Design, develop, and maintain BW4HANA data models (DSOs, InfoProviders, InfoCubes).
• Create and optimise ETL processes from SAP S4HANA ERP.
• Monitor daily data loads to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Troubleshoot data load and processing issues.
• Build and manage Process Chains and oversee data load issues.
• Reconcile BW4HANA data with source systems to ensure consistency.
• Analyse business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Contribute to AI/ML/RPA initiatives within logistics.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work with IT teams and external service providers for system integration and operations.
• Implement data protection measures for sensitive information.
• Support SAP GRC and SAP Basis teams to ensure compliance, security, and system performance.
• Apply SAP Notes to address system bugs and maintain SAP alignment.
• Resolve ITSM tickets proactively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' hands-on SAP BW/4HANA development experience
• Strong experience with SAP S4HANA as a source system
• Experience integrating BW/4HANA solutions across cloud and on-premise platforms
• Proficiency in SAP, Analytics, ETL, SAP ABAP, SQL, and Data management
• Knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI, Machine Learning, and RPA initiatives in logistics
