Job summary

Unitrade 745 (Pty) Ltd, based in Johannesburg, seeks an experienced Systems Analyst for a contract role emphasizing analysis, design and stakeholder collaboration in complex enterprise environments with SAP exposure.

You will gather and document requirements, translate them into detailed specs and user stories, define acceptance criteria and testing requirements, and support design across integrated systems while participating in workshops and UAT to ensure quality documentation and successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years' experience in Systems Analysis, Systems Design or Solution Design.
• Experience working in complex, integrated enterprise environments.
• Exposure to SAP environments is essential.
• Strong SQL or Transact-SQL knowledge.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of APIs, XML and JSON.
• Development experience in Java, C# or a similar programming language.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Agile experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed system specifications and user stories.
• Support solution design across integrated enterprise systems.
• Define acceptance criteria, testing requirements and solution outcomes.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions and requirement reviews.
• Support manual testing activities and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure high-quality documentation, process mapping and system integration design.
