Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd in Pretoria invites experienced SAP Business Analysts / Consultants to join a long-term client project inside a highly structured enterprise environment. This contract role requires deep functional SAP knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting to support SAP S/4HANA and ECC6 environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in SAP configuration.
• Strong functional SAP consulting experience within their specialist module.
• Experience working in SAP enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience supporting both business users and technical teams.
• Ability to work across SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level SAP application support and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot SAP incidents and provide solutions/workarounds.
• Bug fixing and debugging SAP functionality.
• Support SAP S/4HANA and ECC6 environments.
• Track incidents to resolution or workaround.
• Document problem‑solving activities in tickets.
• Perform root cause analysis and user training.
• Escalate complex incidents to higher levels when required.
• Maintain SAP customizing tables, user exits and programs.
• Support data corrections with approvals and IT authorisations.
• Assist with SAP IDocs and interfaces.
