Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
• Tertiary qualification in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience on Xero, Sage and Pastel; Dext, Hubdoc and Karbon advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to review and analyse management accounts.

You’ll manage the full bookkeeping cycle for a portfolio of clients, from gathering source documents to delivering accurate, review-ready management accounts. Key responsibilities

• Collect client records and follow up on outstanding information
• Process transactions and VAT in Xero across multiple clients
• Complete monthly bank and supplier reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset registers and process payroll journals
• Clean up and catch up incomplete historical records
• Prepare books for management accounts and year-end handover

Requirements

• 5+ years’ bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice or multi-client environment, managing 16 to 22 sets of books
• Tertiary qualification in bookkeeping or accounting
• Experience on Xero, Sage and Pastel; Dext, Hubdoc and Karbon advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to review and analyse management accounts
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
