Job summary

GAS Accounting in Sandton is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our production team. You will manage the full bookkeeping cycle for a portfolio of clients, from gathering source documents to delivering review-ready management accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice or multi-client environment.
• Tertiary qualification in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience on Xero, Sage and Pastel; Dext, Hubdoc and Karbon advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to review and analyse management accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• 5+ years' bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice or multi-client environment, managing 16 to 22 sets of books
• Tertiary qualification in bookkeeping or accounting
• Experience on Xero, Sage and Pastel; Dext, Hubdoc and Karbon advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to review and analyse management accounts
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
