Job summary

Absa Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business processes and drive digital initiatives across the organization.

Work with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP APIs to build integrations, automate processes with Flow, and ensure security and scalable architecture.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years Salesforce development experience, plus Git/CI/CD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years Salesforce development experience (adjust based on seniority).
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Salesforce Security Model.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Build automation using Flow, Process Builder (where applicable), and Apex triggers.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests to maintain required code coverage.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, administrators, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in release management, deployment activities, and DevOps processes.
