Job summary

Smollan is seeking a capable Sales Strategy and Achievement professional to support the Regional Manager in developing and implementing sales plans aimed at achieving revenue targets and expanding market share across spaza shops and Midi’s. You will supervise and coach Sales Representatives, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with the team and stakeholders to hit sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Sales Representatives and Kiosk Sales Representatives.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with the sales team and stakeholders to achieve targets.
• Influence and manage relationships between the client, customers and operations.
• Stock Management.
• Ensure POS material distribution to spaza shops and Midi’s.
• Ensure adequate stock pressure in Midi’s.
• Remove short-dated stock from shelves per TBFS SOP.
• Inform relevant stakeholders about short-dated stock.
• Remove all expired stock from shelves.
• Check pricing on shelf and ensure all KVI’s and MHS’s on shelf.
• Minimise returns and damages in stock deliveries.
• Communicate effectively.

Sales Strategy and Achievement

Support the Regional Manager in developing and implementing sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Supervise and coach Sales Representatives and Kiosk Sales Representatives, providing guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
• Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions for area of improvement
• Collaborate with the sales team and all stakeholders to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Pro-actively influencing and managing relationships between the client, customers and operational staff to ensure growth for clients and customers
• Stock Management
• Ensure POS material is distributed and implemented to all spaza shops and Midi’s
• Ensure sufficient stock pressure in Midi’s
• Ensure short-dated stock is removed from shelf as per TBFS SOP
• Inform relevant stakeholders are informed about short-dated stock in Midi’s
• Ensure all expired stock is removed from shelf
• Check for and manage visible and accurate pricing on shelf
• Ensure all KVI’s and MHS’s are always on shelf as per TBFS SOP
• Minimise returns and damages (when delivering stock as and when business requires)
