Responsibilities

• Promote and sell MDS products to healthcare institutions within the Western Cape Region.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and key collaborators.

• Identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Gather and analyze competitor product information and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service.
• Develop territory plans to achieve sales objectives.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Prepare and submit sales activity reports.
• Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and professional events.

About the role

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, customer engagement, and market penetration of BD’s Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) portfolio within an assigned territory in South Africa. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, delivering clinical and commercial value, and achieving sales targets, while ensuring high standards of compliance and customer experience.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Promote and sell MDS products to healthcare institutions within the Western Cape Region.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and key collaborators.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on training sessions.
