Job summary

The Building Company in Cape Town CBD is looking for an External Sales Representative with a strong sales mindset to drive bulk sales and secure new business with contractors, developers, and trade customers in the building materials and hardware sector.

You will manage a territory with disciplined call cycles, visits, and follow-ups, building trust and closing deals while meeting sales and gross profit targets. Grade 12 and 3+ years of external sales, plus a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years external sales experience in building materials, hardware, construction, or related industries.
• Proven ability to develop new business and meet gross profit targets.
• Excellent relationship-building with contractors, developers, and key accounts.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
