What You’ll Do

You will take ownership of sales and the delivering comprehensive equipment handover familiarization training, specifically focusing on MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) such as Scissor and Boom Lifts. Your expertise will be pivotal in explaining machine controls, safe operating procedures, and platform capacities, ensuring operators fully understand the limitations and safety protocols associated with each piece of equipment. You will assess operators’ practical skills and comprehension, keeping detailed records of training outcomes, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Full training will be provided.

Collaborating closely with the service department, you will ensure equipment is correctly prepared for site-specific requirements. Your role will involve identifying site hazards, unsafe practices, and promoting a strong safety culture across all training sessions. You will tailor your training to persons with varying skill levels, demonstrating safe operations, explaining safe working loads, and evaluating each operator’s practical ability before certification.

What You Need

Candidates must have at least two years of experience in sales and training, with a basic knowledge of MEWP equipment and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach are essential, along with a proven ability to record, track, and report training activities accurately. Strong coordination skills and the ability to explain complex safety protocols clearly are critical to success in this role.

Nice to Have

Experience working within the construction, engineering, consulting building services, or machinery industries will be advantageous.
