Job summary

Scistaff is seeking a Sales Manager - Laboratory Equipment in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. The role entails taking full ownership of the sales operation, leading a team, and driving both growth and profitability from day one.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in a science-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in laboratory equipment or scientific instrumentation sales, including proven sales management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across KZN.

A supplier of laboratory equipment is seeking a Sales Manager - Laboratory Equipment to join their team in Pinetown and take full ownership of their sales operation. The role is perfect for a confident, established sales manager who can lead a team, drive their own sales, and grow the business from day one.

You will run the KZN sales function end to end, leading the sales team and holding them to target, while personally managing your own portfolio of key accounts and driving new business across the laboratory and industrial sectors. It's a role for someone who leads from the front.

Key Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in a science-related field and more than 5 years' experience in laboratory equipment or scientific instrumentation sales, including proven sales management experience. Must be a self-sufficient leader who can run a region independently. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across KZN required.

Additional Requirements:

Track record of leading a sales team to hit and exceed targets, technical knowledge of laboratory instruments and solutions, and commercial acumen.
