Job summary

Old Mutual in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, invites an experienced sales leader to manage and grow a proven advisory team of top performers. The role emphasizes profitability, results, and risk management within the area business plan, and participation in MANCO leadership.

You will coach financial advisers, drive a local marketing plan, and ensure accreditation on all PFA products while building a high-performing team and guiding General Practice and ACA recruitment.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• FAIS compliant with a certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent with 120 relevant credits at minimum NQF level 5.
• Must have passed RE 5 level 1.
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager is preferable.
• Accredited on all products that PFA distributes and on other optional products.
• Preferably 24 months' service as a Financial Advisor.
• Strong administrative capabilities.
• Able to apply the six step financial process.

Responsibilities

• Managing the application of PFA's sales process.
• Managing the existing business processes (conservation, outstanding business, financing, administration and client care).
• Interacting with successful and demanding financial advisors.
• Coaching and development of financial advisors.
• Building and sustaining a productive team.
• Assist with General Practice.
• Recruitment into Team of Quality Established Advisors.
• Recruit into ACA team to ensure you have pipeline of Graduate Advisors.
• Development and Implementation of a Local Marketing Plan.
