Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Intern willsupport the sales and estimating teams with customer enquiries, preparation ofquotations, cost calculations, pricing analysis, and sales administration. Thesuccessful candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities,maintaining customer relationships, and preparing accurate cost estimates andquotations to support the company's sales and business development objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric(Grade 12)
• N4-N6 Certificatein Electrical Engineering.
• National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing orBusiness Management, Cost and Management Accounting,Engineering.
  

Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous exposure to sales, customerservice, administration, procurement, or estimating will be an advantage.
• Academic projects or practicaltraining involving costing, budgeting, or quotations will be beneficial.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

• Basic understanding of salesprocesses and customer service principles.
• Basic knowledge of cost estimation,pricing, and quotation preparation.
• Understanding direct costs, indirectcosts, labor, materials, and overheads.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets andperform basic calculations.
• Knowledge of stock, procurement, andsupplier pricing processes will be an advantage.
