Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and increase sales
  • Ensure staff are aware of new stock and can answer product-related questions
  • Ensure no quotation remains on the system for more than 7 days
  • Push and sell available stock
  • Meet targets and ensure business growth
Providing Excellent Customer Service
  • Exceed customer expectations
  • Provide high-quality service to all customers
  • Attend to all customer queries
  • Follow up with customers and record notes on orders
  • Uphold Coricraft values and strive for excellence
Basic Administration
  • Ensure correct product delivery and smooth order processes
  • Process new orders with deposits within 3 days
  • Use correct payment amounts and types
  • Provide timely feedback to customers and inform the Order Controller
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses
Showroom Presentation
  • Keep the store clean and organized
  • Ensure attractive displays and maximum use of available stock
  • Display prices clearly and avoid unnecessary discounts
  • Keep the showroom neat and ready for trading each morning
Team Participation and Self-Management
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships
  • Manage client expectations effectively
  • Attend to incoming calls and walk-in customers
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
Experience and Qualifications
  • Matric
  • At least 2 years retail sales experience in furniture, linen, or homeware
  • Sales qualification advantageous
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Syspro
