Job summary

Yuppiechef is seeking enthusiastic, high-energy team members to join our Cape Town store for the November–December 2026 festive season. You will provide outstanding customer service, help customers find joy in cooking and entertaining, and wrap gifts while keeping the store tidy and welcoming.

Prior luxury-brand experience is advantageous but not required. Be ready to engage with customers and contribute to a memorable shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Experience with luxury brands is advantageous but not essential.
• Available to commit to November–December 2026 period.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level customer service to every shopper in-store.
• Make the store inviting and showcase our products effectively.
• Wrap gifts for customers purchasing with us.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with stock reception/merchandising.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and courteously.

The holiday rush is coming, and we are looking for high-energy, friendly, and reliable people to join our wonderful store teams for the upcoming festive season! You'll be helping our customers find moments of joy at home, offering outstanding and memorable service, while selling our beautiful products. Yes, we sweat the small stuff and work hard at making sure that our customers get the sort of experience that they want when they walk through our doors.

We are specifically looking for teammates who can commit to the entire period ofNovember 2026 to December 2026.

What your role would be

• Offering and executing a high level of customer service to any customer that enters our store, making sure that each visit is a unique interaction
• Making our store an inviting and intriguing space which showcases our brand and our range of products in the best possible way
• Wrapping a large number of gifts for our customers who purchase with us
• Contributing to the cleanliness of our store environment
• Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
• Following the internal process for stock receipt, storage and merchandising

What experience and skills you need for the role

• Grade 12 / Matriculation
• Previous experience working for a luxury brand (seasonal or permanent) is advantageous but not essential.
