Job summary

Yuppiechef in Cape Town is seeking energetic, friendly staff to join our store teams for the festive season. You will help customers find moments of joy at home, providing memorable service and wrapping gifts as needed.

Commitment is for November–December 2026. Prior luxury-brand experience is a plus but not required; you should be team-spirited, detail-oriented, and eager to share knowledge with customers.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matriculation is required.

Responsibilities

• Offering and executing a high level of customer service to any customer that enters our store, making sure that each visit is a unique interaction.
• Making our store an inviting and intriguing space which showcases our brand and our range of products in the best possible way
• Wrapping a large number of gifts for our customers who purchase with us
• Contributing to the cleanliness of our store environment
• Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
• Following the internal process for stock receipt, storage and merchandising

The holiday rush is coming, and we are looking for high-energy, friendly, and reliable people to join our wonderful store teams for the upcoming festive season! You'll be helping our customers find moments of joy at home, offering outstanding and memorable service, while selling our beautiful products. Yes, we sweat the small stuff and work hard at making sure that our customers get the sort of experience that they want when they walk through our doors.

We are specifically looking for teammates who can commit to the entire period of November 2026 to December 2026.

What experience and skills you need for the role

• Grade 12 / Matriculation
• Previous experience working for a luxury brand (seasonal or permanent) is advantageous but not essential.
