Job summary

Yuppiechef.com is seeking energetic seasonal staff to support our Cape Town store from November 2026 to December 2026. You will help customers find joy in our products, keep the store welcoming, wrap gifts, and assist with stock and merchandising while representing our luxury retail brand.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about food and entertaining, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering memorable service in a fast-paced festive period.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matriculation is required.
• Experience with luxury brands is advantageous but not essential.
• Seasonal availability November 2026 to December 2026 is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to every visitor.
• Create an inviting store environment that showcases the brand and products.

You'll be helping our customers find moments of joy at home, offering outstanding and memorable service, while selling our beautiful products. Yes, we sweat the small stuff and work hard at making sure that our customers get the sort of experience that they want when they walk through our doors.

We are specifically looking for teammates who can commit to the entire period of November 2026 to December 2026.

What your role would be

• Offering and executing a high level of customer service to any customer that enters our store, making sure that each visit is a unique interaction
• Making our store an inviting and intriguing space which showcases our brand and our range of products in the best possible way
• Wrapping a large number of gifts for our customers who purchase with us
• Contributing to the cleanliness of our store environment
• Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
• Following the internal process for stock receipt, storage and merchandising

What experience and skills you need for the role

• Grade 12 / Matriculation
• Previous experience working for a luxury brand (seasonal or permanent) is advantageous but not essential.
