SAHETI School in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, seeks an Alumni Community Officer to develop and maintain an active alumni network and engage past graduates in school life.

This full-time, largely autonomous role requires planning, executing projects and events, monitoring risks, and collaborating with the Alumni Committee and school structures to strengthen relationships across SAHETI Institute and the School.

SAHETI School is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, whilst promoting the values and ethos of Hellenism. The school is situated in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain an effective, active Alumni community and to cultivate and enhance Alumni engagement and contribution to the life of SAHETI, thereby building long-term relationships.
The SAHETI Alumni Community Officer is the main point of contact for all past and future Alumni of SAHETI School and is responsible for monitoring and growing the Alumni network. This is a full-time, largely autonomous role. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, execute and take ownership of projects and events independently, exercise sound professional judgement, and proactively flag risks and delays in good time.
Working closely with the Alumni Committee and the School's structures, the Officer develops systems and initiatives that build visibility and sustained involvement across the Alumni Community, the SAHETI Institute, and the School.
