Recruitment Dynamix (Pty) Ltd in Bloemfontein, South Africa seeks a Safety Officer to identify risks and maintain health and safety standards. You will implement preventative measures, monitor workplace safety, and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certification and 2+ years (4 preferred) as a Safety Officer, with a valid SA driver’s license. You will conduct risk assessments, oversee safety plans, and provide after-hours standby support when needed.

Formación

• 2+ years experience as a Safety Officer (4 years preferred).
• SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certification.
• NQF Level 4 National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid South African drivers licence and own transport.
• HIRA certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate preventative measures.
• Verify that tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
• Monitor and assess hazardous conditions and unsafe situations.
• Maintain awareness of potential risks and developing safety concerns.
• Ensure the preparation and implementation of the Safety and Health Plan.
• Provide after-hours standby support as and when required.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
• SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Safety Officer, with 4 years experience preferred.
• Valid South African drivers licence and own reliable transport.
• HIRA certification.

Advantageous Qualifications and Requirements

• Level 3 Incident Investigation Certificate.
• Fall Protection Planner Certificate.
• SACPCMP registration.
• Valid passport.
