Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate, with a strong preference for Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Strong interest in mining operations and engineering.
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Must pass a medical examination and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and controlling mining equipment and machinery under supervision.
• Learn and implement operational procedures and safety protocols specific to mining.
• Participate in daily operational planning and reporting.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on mining equipment.
• Support the geological and surveying teams with data collection and analysis.
• Gain hands-on experience in different mining disciplines, including surface and underground operations if applicable.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve production targets efficiently and safely.
