Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ECSA candidacy; 3+ years in rural water systems operation/maintenance.
• Experience with solar pumping, PV arrays, MPPT controllers, battery systems.
• Knowledge of water quality testing and basic SANS 241:2015 compliance.
• Able to diagnose faults across electromechanical, hydraulic, and civil components.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site-by-site technical condition assessments across the cluster.
• Perform quarterly full-system inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Lead water quality monitoring, sanitary surveys, and sample coordination.
• Train community operators and support O&M planning with committees.
• Document reports, asset registers, and coordinate with partners.
