Placements24 seeks an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, offering a hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of pump, compressor, turbine tech including hydraulics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Proficiency in vibration analysis and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
• Experience with seals, lubrication, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for selection, specification, and procurement of new rotating equipment.
• Conduct RCFA on malfunctions and develop corrective action plans.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs for rotating machinery.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of these vital assets through effective design review, specification, troubleshooting, and maintenance strategy development. Requirements
