Placements24 is seeking a Robotics Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize mechanical systems for advanced robotic platforms. This fully remote role enables you to contribute to cutting-edge automation from anywhere while collaborating closely with software and control engineers.

You will create precise 3D models and drawings, integrate sensors and actuators, and perform kinematic and dynamic analyses to ensure robust mechatronic performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design with a robotics/automation focus.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and simulation tools.
• Experience with motion control, actuators, sensors, and power transmission systems.
• Understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, and control strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work in a distributed, remote team.
