Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work remotely on cutting-edge projects for clients across industries. You will develop detailed mechanical designs, run FEA and thermal simulations, and ensure designs are optimized for performance and manufacturability.

The role requires at least 6 years of experience, a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred), and fluency with SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, ANSYS, and Abaqus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development with a strong project portfolio.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities
